Oligomannose N-glycan with 5 mannose residues, 100pmol. m/z: 1355.4862
MAN-5 is a substructure of glyans found on several mammalian glycoproteins including human alpha-1 acid glycoprotein (hAAGP). This product has typically been purified from the oligosaccharide pool released from hAAGP by hydrazinolysis using a combination of HPLC and glycosidase digestion. The current extraction method uses a plant source for purifying Man 5 glycans.
